Office 365 Email

On February 26th, 2013 Franklin University will be switching student email from Zimbra to Microsoft Office 365 Email. Microsoft Office 365 has all of the same features you are used to in Zimbra including, email, folder storage, contacts, and calendaring as well as a great deal of additional functionality and integration to come.

You will be able to continue to access your email account through myFranklin by clicking on the Email button. You will also be able to access old email for a period of time clicking on Zimbra Email. This access will allow you to forward important mail items or save contacts to another email account.

If you have manually changed your Zimbra email to another email account, you will have to make this change in Office 365 as well.  It is highly recommended that you do not forward your mail to another email account.  All new mail as of February 26th 2013 will remain in Office 365 unless you indicate otherwise in Office 365
