Phishing Email Warning

We have recently seen an increase in phishing attempts targeting Franklin University accounts and are reminding our user population to avoid replying to suspected phishing emails or sharing account or identity information.

Phishing is an attack designed to harvest identity and account details by impersonating a legitimate organization.  Phishing emails often aim to look official and recent attempts have even included mockups of Franklin University websites with logins but are not in fact hosted by Franklin University.

Please be wary of links that arrive in email messages.  Hovering your mouse over the link could reveal that the link actually goes to a site that is not hosted by Franklin University.

If you do fall prey to a suspected phishing attack, please change your password immediately from within myFranklin and then notify the Help Desk.
