What’s happening now at the Learning Commons

The Learning Commons has a schedule full of resources to help you succeed your Fall 2017 courses!

Tutoring is on a modified schedule for the first few weeks of the Fall term, but don’t worry, we have plenty of times and tutors available for you!

Don’t delay, come in now to meet the tutors and build a strong routine for your studying. Check the SLC website for the current tutoring schedule.

New! Walk-in Tutoring for Writing! Just want a refresher on how to cite a source using APA? Need to talk with a tutor to get that paper started and then you’re set? Forgot to make an appointment to meet with your tutor this week?

A walk-in session gives you the freedom to seek our tutoring services without having to make an appointment.

As with all of our tutoring options, walk-in sessions focus on your specific concerns for a specific course or writing. Reminders: Walk-in tutors will spend approximately 10-15 with a student before moving onto the next student. If there is time, the tutor will circle back around to answer additional questions. Walk-in sessions do not count towards your two appointments for the week.

Daytime Tutoring Available- Franklin University has partnered with the Ohio E-Tutoring Collaborative to provide online daytime tutoring to our students. Click here to get started!

Workshops are in full swing.  Go to the Workshop Registration page to sign up for upcoming workshops.

If you cannot attend our workshops when they are scheduled, we have recordings available on our website.
