Financial Statement for F-1 Visa

The Department of Homeland Security/ U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services require that prospective international (F-1) students and their dependents have sufficient funds to cover educational and living expenses for the duration of studies in the United States. Therefore it is an admission requirement to proof that you have enough funding for your first year of study.

Students who plan to apply for an F-1 student visa or transfer their F-1 status to Franklin University must demonstrate that they can afford tuition and expenses, including the cost of living in Columbus, Ohio.  Your sponsor will need to submit financial statements showing at least the minimum amount required by the University and submit a sponsorship form, which can be found on the University’s website.
